We offer courses which are Level 3 that are approved by the MoD for ELC funding in the following trades:-

We know that not everyone wants to study the same subject areas which is why we offer ELC approved packages that allow you to choose the trades you want to study.

On successful completion of your training, you receive Level 3 certificates relating to ALL of the trades that you study.

FT001

L3 Award in Building, Installation and Property Maintenance Skills

We offer a 12½ days, 15 days or 17.5 days (dependent on choices made) ELCAS approved Property Maintenance Course - plastering, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, kitchen fitting, bricklaying, block paving, rendering. We appreciate that not everyone wants to learn the same trade so this course enable you to design the contents of the training to suit your needs. You need to achieve 11 credits to achieve the L3 Award from the following:

• Kitchen Fitting – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Carpentry – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Plastering – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Rendering – 4 credits (5 days)

• Tiling – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Plumbing – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Bricklaying – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Block paving – 4 credits (5 days)

During your training you will be assessed at Level 3 for each trade that you undertake and upon successful completion of your course, you will receive a Level 3 Award in Property Development.

Duration and Cost

12½ or 15 full days in duration, from 9.00am until 4.00pm Mon-Thur and 9.00am – 1.00pm on Fridays (due to long travel times for some learners)

The cost of this course is £1460 INC VAT for 12½ days, £1750 INC VAT for 15 days or £2045 INC VAT for 17.5 days and there are no hidden extra costs.

All tools and materials are supplied by us, you just need to arrive work ready ie safety boots and work clothes. We also have a stock of safety boots and overalls if you don’t already have them.

You can use your ELCAS entitlement plus your resettlement allowance towards the cost of the course.

FT002

L3 Award in Building, Installation Skills 1st & 2nd Fix Joinery

We offer a 15 day ELCAS approved 1ST & 2ND Fix Joinery Course to include Kitchen fitting skills, stud walls, skirtings, architraves, door casings, doors and ironmongery. We appreciate that not everyone wants to learn the same trade so this course enable you to design the contents of the training to suit your needs. You need to achieve 11 credits to achieve the L3 Award. You will need both of the following units:

• Kitchen Fitting – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Carpentry – 7 credits (7.5 days)

During your training you will be assessed at Level 3 for each trade that you undertake and upon successful completion of your course, you will receive a Level 3 Award in 1ST & 2ND Fix Joinery.

Duration and Cost

15 full days in duration, from 9.00am until 4.00pm Mon-Thur and 9.00am – 1.00pm on Fridays (due to long travel times for some learners)

The cost of this course is £1750 INC VAT for 15 days and there are no hidden extra costs.

All tools and materials are supplied by us, you just need to arrive work ready ie safety boots and work clothes. We also have a stock of safety boots and overalls if you don’t already have them.

• Tiling, (7.5 days)

• Plumbing (7.5 days)

• Bricklaying, (7.5 days)

During your training you will be assessed at Level 3 for each trade that you undertake and upon successful completion of your course, you will receive a Level 3 Certificate in Property Development.

L3 Certificate in Kitchen Installation Skills

We offer a 22 ½ day ELCAS approved Kitchen Installation Course to include Kitchen fitting skills, base units, wall units, doors, pelmets, cornice, worktop, butt and scribe and plastering, plumbing, tiling skills, carpentry skills (dependent on choices made). We appreciate that not everyone wants to learn the same trade so this course enable you to design the contents of the training to suit your needs. You need to achieve 21 credits to achieve the L3 Certificate. You will need 3 of the following units:

Kitchen Fitting – 7 credits (7.5 days) Mandatory

Choose 2 from below:

• Carpentry – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Plumbing – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Plastering – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Tiling – 7 credits (7.5 days)

During your training you will be assessed at Level 3 for each trade that you undertake and upon successful completion of your course, you will receive a Level 3 Certificate in Kitchen Installations.

We offer a 22 ½ day ELCAS approved Bathroom Installation Course to include Bathroom installation, sink pedestal, bath, toilet, hot and cold feeds, taps, pipework to suit, Plastering Skills, Tiling Skills, Carpentry Skills (dependent on choices made). We appreciate that not everyone wants to learn the same trade so this course enable you to design the contents of the training to suit your needs. You need to achieve 21 credits to achieve the L3 Certificate. You will need 3 of the following units:

• Plumbing skills, - 7 credits (7.5 days) Mandatory

Choose 2 from below:

• Carpentry – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Plastering – 7 credits (7.5 days)

• Tiling – 7 credits (7.5 days)

During your training you will be assessed at Level 3 for each trade that you undertake and upon successful completion of your course, you will receive a Level 3 Certificate in Bathroom Installations.

Course Overview:

• 1 Day course from 9 am to 4 pm at a cost of £145+vat per learner.
• Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS), Safe Manual Handling, Working Safely at Height, Risk To Health, Working Safely around plant and equipment
• On achievement of this course, you are able to undertake your CSCS touch Screen Test and apply for your relevant CSCS card.
• For CITB registered companies there is a £30* grant per learner.
